The author analyzes the problems of preserving the health of children studying in schools and in the system of vocational education. From the data obtained by the author in the course of the study, it can be concluded that the methodology of physical education classes in preschool educational institutions requires a certain correction, since little attention is paid to the development of speed and strength qualities (respondents' indicators are 50% lower than the requirements of the regional standard), which negatively affects the harmonious physical development of the child.
